Here we are again chatting about lipstick and sorry, but I’m not sorry. The Fenty Mattemoiselle Lipsticks have been a true favourite of mine for years now, especially when it comes to matte lipsticks. The formulation is truly wonderful and the shade Griselda has become a true vampy staple. Super pigmented and light on the lips, they have a light, creamy consistency which makes them easy to apply and wear, without sliding around, feathering or drying out the lips. One swipe and you’re done!

I’m not sure whats happening and truly hope they’re not being discontinued, however when the Fenty Slip Shine Lipsticks Launched, the Mattemoiselles went on sale at Sephora Australia, as well as the Fenty website. Who would I be if I wasn’t taking this opportunity to add some va-va-voom to my collection?

THE SHADE

Flamingo Acid is a deep, reddened berry with subtle, cool undertones and that classic Fenty semi-matte finish. The shade is absolutely stunning and I’m so stoked to have gotten my hands on it. It acts as the beautiful focal point of an otherwise natural makeup look. The shade is wonderfully universal and would suit a very wide range of skin tones. I’d dare to say it would suit everyone!

DARE TO BE BOLD

If you’ve always shied away from bright lipsticks, try it out! Pairing a bold lipstick with a minimal eye look and a focus on healthy, glowy skin can be stunning. Makeup should be fun and a fantastic way to be creative. Playing with colour and texture can be truly inspirational.

Every time I get my hands on a shade of the Mattemoiselle lipsticks I want more. For my next purchase I have my eye on the burnt orange shade Freckle Fiesta. Expect to be seeing it making an appearance soon!
